Pizzeria Pellegrini, what a hidden gem for Brick Oven Bliss! Pizzeria Pellegrini delivered some of the best brick oven pizza I’ve ever had. The crust was perfectly crisp with that smoky char only a true wood-fired oven can achieve. Each bite was full of flavor—fresh ingredients, melty cheese, and a rich tomato sauce that tied it all together. Simple, authentic, and absolutely delicious. This place is a must-try for any true pizza lover visiting Lucca Italy.

Addicted. In 4 days in Lucca I think I ate here 5 times. Extremely delicious and highly affordable pizzas plus the best cecina in town. 100/10

Very good wood-fired pizza, with seating on the street out-front. Service was friendly, if a little slow - but it was very busy on the Saturday evening that we visited; the queue was out the door for those who were taking pizza away! The 6 of us (2 adults and 4 kids) shared 3 pizzas and a foccacia flatbread, along with some drinks (4 soft and 2 Aperol spritz). It all came to 56€, which was pretty decent

Very good pizza and great beer. Prices are more than reasonable considering the fact that the restaurant is located behind the church on the main town square. The waiter was somewhat clumsy, but she was nice.

Tasty, no-fuss wood-fired pizza — sold by the slice, which makes it perfect for a quick bite on the go. Great crispy base, rich tomato sauce, and quality toppings. Ideal if you want something fast but authentic.

Correct as of April '25 Friday evening, Very busy. Cooked in a nice traditional wood fire oven. You'd better know Italian, or at least have a translator available, for communication. Take some time to go over the menu, which is in both English and Italian. Prices are pretty good, very fair. Better than most UK fast food and pizza restaurants. Sitting inside, or takeaway, are both available. However, no sitting outside if you're not a customer. No Deep Pan only thin pizzas. Beware, price is per pizza, not per slice... As I learnt the hard way.
